Dear Friends of
the Cathedral ~
For more than 140 years the Cathedral has played silent witness to the
prayers of its parishioners and visitors, provided sanctuary for
inspiration and reflection, hosted the joys of holy communion,
matrimony, baptism and entry into eternal life and has been a resource
cherished by the Diocese and the community at large. In short, the
Cathedral has been there for all of us.
Now the Cathedral needs our help. Time has taken a toll on the masonry
and grimed the beautiful stained glass. While we are addressing the
restoration of our stained glass windows and exterior masonry, it comes
at a price-some $2 million in capital expense which must be borne by the
church.
Many of you have asked how you might assist which is heartening to us.
We invite you to take the following actions to help:
~Lift up your heart in prayer for us and for our
ministries to the residents and the needy of the City of Camden
~Join our Cathedral Spire Club, a convenient way of
helping keep the "flame of faith and service" alive at the Cathedral-in
this way. Subscription donations can be made through check or by credit
card . |

We ask you to join with us to
continue the inspiring work at the Cathedral for the Diocese and for the
entire community. As expressed in our publication A Glorious Past, A
Brilliant Future: The History of the Diocese of Camden, "It is our hope
that Christ will fill us with the courage and zeal to meet the
challenges of this time."
Prayer and presence is a perfect complement to the generous gift of
donation, so please come and visit us, worship with us and serve with us
whenever the opportunity permits.
God's Blessings to you and to your loved ones.
